On Tuesday, April 18th, at approximately 2:03PM MCR descended upon downtown Chippewa Falls, WI with our 1969 Camaro Top Secret Project 99. Well, it was top secret until it was featured on the cover of the July 2011 Car Craft Magazine!! The Camaro was recently selected to be one of the 12 cars to be featured in the 2012 PPG Platinum Calendar. Teaming up with Maux Creative Studio out of Chippewa Falls who scouted a very cool location in the down-town area. When looking for an area to shoot your own car try to find some where with low traffic, textures and colors that you think will compliment your car’s colors and be sure to have any permissions to use the location ahead of time; these are the tips from Maux. Their photographer John Statiorus was there to photograph the car; John has been with Maux Creative for over 11 years and a photographer longer. Be sure to keep your eyes open for the 2012 PPG Platinum Calendar available at paint and body shops near you soon! Click here for photographs taken during the shoot (not the calendar shots). Refining Restoration – How a popular restoration shop proves quantity and quality can co-exist. Although the cars we restore are regularly featured in magazines and other media having someone like Angelo Van Bogart come in and write a story featuring our business itself was something that makes us really proud.
