Rolex Kentucky

We just got back from the three day Rolex Kentucky equestrian event. MCR is touring with Bridgestone this show season and this event was one they wanted to show our Camaro at, it was definitely something different and interesting from what we are used to. It was an equestrian event where they had show horses, jumping, going cross country, etc but luckily none were near the cars. We found that a lot of the guys that came to the event with their wives and girl friends were more interested in our Camaro than the horses! We had a great time! Be sure to check out some photographs taken during the show at:

2012 PPG Platinum Calendar

On Tuesday, April 18th, at approximately 2:03PM MCR descended upon downtown Chippewa Falls, WI with our 1969 Camaro Top Secret Project 99. Well, it was top secret until it was featured on the cover of the July 2011 Car Craft Magazine!! The Camaro was recently selected to be one of the 12 cars to be featured in the 2012 PPG Platinum Calendar. Teaming up with Maux Creative Studio out of Chippewa Falls who scouted a very cool location in the down-town area. When looking for an area to shoot your own car try to find some where with low traffic, textures and colors that you think will compliment your car’s colors and be sure to have any permissions to use the location ahead of time; these are the tips from Maux. Their photographer John Statiorus was there to photograph the car; John has been with Maux Creative for over 11 years and a photographer longer. Be sure to keep your eyes open for the 2012 PPG Platinum Calendar available at paint and body shops near you soon! Click here for photographs taken during the shoot (not the calendar shots). Read more about the car here.
