(Cover AND pages 164 - 169)
From the article: "Muscle Car Restorations has come to be known in recent years for turning out some of the most outrageous Pro Touring and custom Mopars on the planet. The shop boasts perhaps the most complete one-stop facility in the country for building a state-of-the-art custom, with virtually all of the work being done in-house."
1965 Plymouth Satellite at Rock Falls Raceway
Mike Creglow, owner of a recently restored '65 Plymouth, took his car to the track for the first time this weekend. We were all very excited to see what it could do -- the car peformed great! Mike's quarter mile times dropped with each pass and he ended with a respectible best ET of 10.74. With better conditions and some more practice we know the car is going to be even quicker. Most importantly we all had a blast! Be sure to watch the video. What a car.

PPG Platinum Calendar Photo Shoot
This past Monday, May 21st, Muscle Car Restorations was again honored when PPG, MCR's
exclusive paint supplier, selected one of MCR's most cutting edge projects for inclusion
in their 2007 calendar. The car picked out to have the privilege of representing PPG and
there outstanding line of products was Wayne Tunis' 1972 Pro-Touring Cuda. Covered with
PPG 1970 code Y1 Lemon Twist, Wayne's Cuda virtually glowed for the camera and the
creative team from Maux Creative Studio, of Chippewa Falls, Wi. The full-blown commercial
shoot took about three hours to complete using state of the art digital imaging equipment.

May 2007 - Mopar Collector's Guide
Look for the MCR restored '72 Pro-Touring Cuda(Sphyraena Hemius Maximus) in the May 2007 issue of Mopar Collector's Guide!
From the article: "John Balow, Fred Kappus, and the entire crew at Muscle Car Restorations in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin have done it again. In the last half dozen years, we've come to expect great things from these guys, be it in the restored OEM-style old Mopars, or with radical customs. Last summer, however, we were taken aback by something so complete off-the-wall and unexpected it even left us speechless for while, pondering it's complexity and craftmanship. Yes, we know it's hard to believe anyone here at MCG would ever be speechless, because usually you can't shut us up, but the yellow E-body staring us in the face caught us, and everyone else, off guard."
New dyno footage is now online of a '67 Mustang that we recently performed a 289 - 351 engine swap on. Click here to watch high resolution video. Click here to watch medium resolution video. The owner just visited Australia so we added a bit of a "down under" flavor to this video.

From the article: "John Balow's shop, Muscle Car Restorations (MCR) in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, was responsible for turning Editor Bolig's drab army-green Valiant into the arrow-straight, eye-blindingly white A-Body it is today. They also have had many of their clients' Mopars featured in our pages, including a pair of Super Stock A-Body clones, outstanding street cruisers, and some of the most perfect concourse-grade restorations we've ever seen. So when John came up to us at the SEMA show in Las Vegas with this wild concept, he had our attention."
